We walked out on to the lawn and we were joined by Jacob and Caleb. They had started this journey with us, and I felt like they should be allowed to finish it. The girls went behind trees and took off their clothes, putting them into a bag with our clothing. We all shifted, and Jacob picked up the bag to carry in their mouth.
Bear was a Lycan and definitely the largest of us. He was pretty scary looking, and I was glad he was on our side. David was a normal gray wolf, mid-sized, but knowing Bear he had some sort of skill or knowledge that was important to this mission. Gertrude’s wolf was pink. I’ve never seen a pink wolf before and I noticed Lexi, Kevin, Jacob and Caleb also starting at her. I’m guessing they’ve never seen a pink wolf before, either. Gertrude preened herself,
