Dryas was finally satisfied. We were marked and mated and he was a very happy wolf. Lexi and I cleaned up and headed downstairs for dinner. She suddenly got very shy.
“Will everyone know what we did?” She was pink with embarrassment. I thought she was cute.
“I don’t see why they would,” I answered. “I didn’t send out an announcement or anything.”
We opened the dining room door and walked in. Kevin was already seated at the table. He looked over at us and whistled. “You DAWG!”
