I could see my mate fighting with her sister. I fought my way over to her, noting that the shifters and vampires fighting us didn’t really seem too much into it. So much for loyalty, I thought, when the vampire I was fighting ran away.
I could sense Lexi’s anxiety over the fight and how torn she felt. Her sister was dangerous and letting her go wasn’t an option. I wasn’t sure a prison could hold her. There was one option in my mind. I knew that Lexi knew it and I knew how torn she was.
