Chapter 21
Raiden and Leon awoke a couple hours before dawn, a searing pain running through their bodies. Their minds went to thoughts of each other. Both praying to the Goddess that the other was alright. Neither realizing that the source of their pain was coming from someone else entirely. Enya’s P.O.V I had started feeling restless right after midnight. Within an hour, I was achy and uncomfortable. Now, it was absolute bone shattering pain. My mouth hung open in a silent scream as I struggled to breathe. My whole body felt like hot magma as my muscles and bones adjusted to the shift. Throughout the entire process, Arima hung around in my mind, encouraging me through the pain as I writhed on the floor. I’m not sure how much time actually passed, but it felt like an eternity by the time the pain
