Out of Hiding

Road Trip

As Helen and I keep shopping I keep wondering how is she not tired of walking and carrying many bags of clothes and shoes cuz I am so tired since I didn’t get much sleep last night. I haven’t told anyone but I keep having visions they stared over a week ago and I keep wonder why.

“What is bugging you” Helen said bringing me out of my thoughts

“Nothing just wondering how your not tired of carrying all of the bags we have right now, I mean we have already been to fifteen different stores and came out with three bags of each store and my feet are killing me, I you don’t realize that I have been locked up for about 437 years and I have never been outside and had to last this long carrying so many things” I told Helen as we came to a stop at a cafe

“Calm down we’ve only been shopping for about three hours and now we are taking a break meanwhile you mind link Richard or Sam to come and pick us up while I go and order us some drinks.” Helen said as she walked into the cafe to order drinks.

‘Hey Richard can you come and pick Helen and I up we are sitting down outside of a cafe’ I mind linked Richard

‘What cafe are you two at’ He mind linked me back

‘Well I don’t know, I have never been outside before and I can’t see any street signs so yeah you have to figure it out’ I said back to him.

‘Send me your locating or send it to Sam I am almost done with some paperwork that I have to sign’ he said

‘Okay, just letting you know Helen made me get new clothes and we went to fifteenth stores and came out with at least three bags each so in total we both have about forty five bags each.’ I told him in advanced

‘You have to be kidding, please tell me that you are kidding.’ He said back

‘I wish but I am not’ I told him and after that we both closed the mind link.

While I was waiting for Helen I sent Sam my location and then I began to feel someone staring at me, I began to look around and spotted a pair of silver white eyes staring directly at me. When a car passed by him, he was gone just like that and I couldn’t find him anymore but I did have enough time to see him very clearly he looked about to be 6’2, very well built I could even tell he has a six pack because of his fitted shirt, he was light skinned but not too light.

“I got you a coffee milkshake or is it chocolate, oh well one of those two, you’ll find out when you taste it. I have also received a text message from Sam saying that they are on their way.” Helen said bring me out of my thoughts.

“Alright, by the way I told Richard about your shopping spree.” I told Helen

“Don’t you mean ‘our’ shopping spree.” She said back to me

“You did all of the shopping so it’s your spree.” I said to her as I saw my brothers car coming into view.

When they pulled up to the cafe that we were outside of both Richard and Sam got out to help us put Helen and my bags into the trunk of the car.

“You seriously weren’t joking when you said that Helen went on a shopping spree.” Richard said to me

“Now why would I lie about this, my feet are killing me and the good thing was that I was not wearing heels.” I said back to him as I got in the back seat and Helen in the passenger side, while Sam came and sat next to me and Richard of course was the one to drive. 

"Ohh come on, don't exaggerate we were only walking for about two or three hours and I still didn't find the outfit for when we have dinner with the Alpha of the Crystal Moon pack." Helen said. 

"Well for your information I have never been outside for this long or walked for that long, as for right now I am still getting used to seeing this many buildings, cars and people, they're everywhere I look." I said back to her. 

"I know that, but lucky for you, your going to spend more time outside when we get to the pack, your even going to school so cheer up." Helen said back to me. 

"Well since your all done shopping we still have a long drive before we reach the pack." Richard said to all of us. 

Once Richard started the car we started our journey or as I will now call it road trip. 

As the city started to get smaller and was replaced with fields of green grass and less buildings, I think we were on the countryside but to be honest I don't know where we are.

We left New Orleans at 4:30 pm and now it 7:00 pm, so it's been about three hours that we have been on the road, the good thing is that I was able to see the sunset from a better view, I even tried to make Richard stop to take pictures but he didn't as he said 'There are more cars behind us and where would I even stop', so I had to take the pictures inside a moving car they still came out good. 

Throughout the drive Helen was the first one to fall asleep and she's still sleeping, then Sam fell asleep an hour after Helen did. I didn't believe Richard when he said that Helen talks in her sleep until we heard her say that 'Werewolves have a very bad temper and that she still doesn't know how to handle us.' What she said my brothers found it funny but I am still wondering how did she handle us in the first place since she is Richards mate?

It is now 11:00 pm and I still don't know where we are but I do believe that their might be a town where we can find a motel and rest, but Richard doesn't want to stop because he is not tired and I don't believe a word he said because wolves need their rest, I can last staying up because of my vampire side since vampires don't sleep, but wolves and other creatures need their rest to function correctly. 

As I saw staring out the window I couldn't help but wonder who was the guy that was staring at me, I still haven't told anyone about it because if I did they would probably lock me up again and never let me out. But when I saw the guy I didn't feel panicked, I felt relaxed like I somehow knew him for over a very long time. 

I remember the way he was looking at me like he somehow knew that I was going to be their, his expression was like seeing someone for the first time and knowing that they might be the one to stick with you through everything. 

But what stood out the most was his eye color silver white, the same color as my eyes. Something inside of me feels like this won't be the first encounter I will have with the mystery guy, and to be honest I really hope I will see him again.
