It Wasn’t Supposed To Be Like This

Chapter 12

*Zekes point of view*

“Layla is everything ready to go tonight?” It was finally the night of the fight. I had something up my sleeve that nobody could see coming.

“Yes Zeke I told you three days ago everything was ready for tonight.” She rolled her eyes at me. She had no respect for me, just she wait. She would bow down to me one day.

“Okay thank you. You’re dismissed, just put it in his food so he won’t know what we’re doing.” She nodded her head and walked to the kitchen.

“Alpha we’ll need to get going soon, it’s almost sun down and we have a few more preparations to make.” Dylan walked in to my study and sat down in one of the chairs. He had no idea the fate that awaited him tonight.

“Yes thank you Dylan, we need to go eat before we leave I have to make sure I’m fully prepared to fight that way nothing can distract me from killing him, not even hunger.” We walked out of my office and into the kitchen. They were serving steak and potatoes with a side of asparagus tonight. The meal of champions. I couldn’t help but smile I had this fight in the bag. After we finished eating we went and trained a little more so that way I had covered all bases and I was warmed up. Knowing Xavier he’s been training all week, what a foolish man. He would never amount to me or my strength and tonight he would realize that. The hours went by quickly and before I knew it it was midnight, tonight was a full moon and it would peak at midnight which would give us our best chance of fighting in wolf form. Xaviers car pulled in and he stepped out with Avery at his side. So nice of him to bring my prize to me, less running around for me to do. She was dressed in an a-line black velvet dress it almost resembled the one she wore for her 18th birthday. She looked stunning and my wolf was going wild in my head. I couldn’t wait to do what her body’s been begging me to tonight once everything was over.

“Gentlemen please step to the center and shake hands. This is a fight to the death or the first one to tap out, whoever does either of those first loses and the other one wins Averys hand. Nod your head if you understand me. Good.” And we both stripped down and transformed into our wolves. Xaviers wolf was huge, standing at almost 9’ on his hind legs, golden brown fur and icy blue almost white eyes. I stood at a measly 6’ on my hind legs and had a mousey brown colored fur and dull brown eyes. He lunged at me and I dodged but he quickly turned back around and grabbed me by the neck tossing me across the field. I stood back up and went for him , he dodged me and caught me with his paw throwing me down to the ground on my back and grabbing me by the throat pulling some skin away. I was bleeding badly, he was going to win. I was going to lose Avery. He lunged at me pushing me up against a tree and taking one final bite at my neck. Everything went black.

*Xaviers point of view*

I took one final bite out of his neck this time biting right on his carotid artery and pulling back, blood gushed out every where and he went limp underneath the bite. I had done it. I killed Zeke, Avery was finally mine. I looked over at her and she smiling so big and Isaac just howled. Without looking back I walked towards the car quickly transforming back and getting dressed.

“Are you ready to go my lady? We have important matters to attend to.” She nodded her head yes and wrapped her arm around mine. I was finally going to get to introduce her as my Luna, our Luna of the Blue Horizon pack, we would finally be able to return back home to Colorado.

“I’m so proud of you Xavier, I love you.” My heart skipped a beat and I looked at her as she blushed. She finally said it. I knew she felt the same way I did.

“I need to call Axel and have them start making the preparations for the dinner tonight. I know it’s late but I promised you if I defeated him we’d do it tonight.” She just beamed up at me. She leaned her head against my shoulder as we sat in the car on our way back. I called Axel and informed him of what happened and he hung up. We pulled up to the gate of the pack house. The guards bowed their heads and let us through.

“Are you sure you’re ready for this princess?” I asked as I opened the car door.

“I’m sure Xavier, you earned it and I know without a doubt I’d rather be here than there with him.” I knew she wanted to be with me, I just hoped she was ready for the role of a Luna.

We walked through the front door. I could smell the delicious desserts and other various food being cooked, tonight instead of eating in the dining hall inside the pack house we would eat in the complex outside it was much bigger and had enough seating to fit all of the pack inside or at least the ones that chose to show up.

“I need to go upstairs and shower before dinner you can come with me or wait here.” I started walking up the stairs when I felt her put her hand in mine, I held it tight. We made our way to my room. I opened the door and motioned for her to go ahead and walk in, I walked in behind her and shut it. When I turned back around I was met with her lips. I kissed her back and hard, I didn’t think I’d ever get to do this again. I picked her up and she wrapped her legs around me.

“Are you sure this is what you want to do?” She kissed me again in response, I carried her over to the bed and laid her down.

“Are you really sure?” She nodded again, everyone would be waiting on us but I didn’t care, I have longed for this moment for months. I started removing her dress exposing her beautiful ivory skin Isaac began howling in my head.

“ You looked beautiful tonight princess.” She smiled at me. I started to trail my fingers down her body slowly , starting at her cheek and making my way down to her thigh making her shiver under my touch. I placed my hand at the top of her thigh snaking my way to her center. Even through her underwear I could feel how wet she was.

“Are you really sure this is what you want?” She pressed my hand harder against her.

“Does it feel like this is what I want?” I began moving my fingers around in circles a small moan escaped her mouth. Making Isaac howl in my head. I need more of her now. I moved away from her body and started removing my own clothes. When I felt her hand go into my waist band, sending chills down my spine. She worked her way down into my jeans and wrapped her hand around my hard shaft making me moan, she just gave me a devilish grin.

“Tell me how bad you want it Alpha.” She’s never called me alpha like that before and it made my ears perk up.

“I’m sorry say that again.” She leans up towards me and put her lips right next to my ear letting her warm breath tickle my ear for a second.

“Alpha.” She says it, barely above a whisper and I can’t hold back anymore. I throw her back against the bed and completely remove my clothes. She sitting there with her legs wide open just begging for me, I position myself between her thighs and pull her panties to the side. Taking a moment to admire her beauty. This was mine, all mine forever now.

“Are you absolutely positive this is what you want?” I ask her one final time. She nods her head.

“Xavier, I promise I would have stopped you before now if I didn’t want this.” That made me feel better but, I still felt a little guilty. I look back down at her, her center wet and ready and throbbing for me. I lay my body closer to hers and positioned my tip at her center. I slowly pushed my way in, she grasped onto the bed sheets and let out a moan. That sound was still music to my ears. Once I was inside her fully, I let her take a moment to adjust to my length, before I started to thrust in and out of her. Our bodies becoming a hot sweaty mess, we moved into multiple different positions. She took control over me and positioned herself on top of me before she started riding again. I was so close to the edge of ecstasy, feeling myself slower fall over the cliff when I felt her canines slowly bite into my neck. Was she actually marking me? I didn’t expect it. I heard Isaac howl in the back of my head.

“Mark our mate now!”

I pushed her hair to the side, revealing her marking spot and slowly sank my canines in. The room became bright and then my vision went black as I released myself into her finally diving head first off the cliff of ecstasy. Once the high was over we both licked the spots we just marked to seal it. We both fell onto the bed, taking long deep breaths as we tried to gather our surroundings.

“Xavier, I love you.” She really did love me and she just proved it. I grinned from ear to ear and rolled over to look at her.

“I love you too Avery Lee.” I brushed a strand of hair behind her ear and she just smiled at me. I think tonight’s the night.

“What are you thinking about?” I couldn’t tell her I was thinking about proposing.

“Oh, just how beautiful you are that’s all.” I gave her a quick smile and kissed her forehead.

“Come on we need to shower and go down for the dinner, everyone’s probably waiting.” I didn’t want to leave the room yet but, we had duties to attend to. We quickly showered and got dressed before heading down. To my surprise nobody was in the complex outside yet, we could have fooled around a little longer.

“Big brother!” I turn to see my sister Danielle standing there. She hasn’t been home in a couple of years. She was away at college studying.

“Little sis, it’s so good to see you!” She comes over and gives me a big hug.

“So are you going to introduce me to your friend here?” She looked over at Avery and smiled.

“Well I wanted to wait until we made an official announcement but, this is Avery my mate, also soon to be Luna.” Avery went to shake her hand but Danielle pulled her in for a hug instead.

“You’re part of the family now and in this family we hug, well okay most of us do.” They both just laughed. I think Avery is going to make a great Luna. I couldn’t have a better mate by my side.

“I could get used to that. I prefer to hug anyways.” I loved that they were already getting along, I hadn’t talked about my family very much but my little sister meant everything to me. When our mom left we only had each other, dad had become super distant with everyone. We made the most of our time together between school and hanging out at the pack house, we were inseparable.

“Alright sorry Alpha but I’m stealing her away, we have girl things to talk about.” She grabbed Avery by the hand and they walked away. I really think this is going to work.

*Averys point of view*

His sister Danielle pulled me away. She looked nothing like Xavier or their dad, she was roughly 5’4 with dark brown hair, pale skin, and brown eyes. She was still beautiful though.

“Okay let’s get down to business, you’ll have to have an actual Luna ceremony soon, it’ll probably be held in Colorado since that’s where our main pack territory is.” I hadn’t even thought that far ahead yet. Would my family move with us? They were living with us here now but that was because they were in danger, would they move back into our old house and go about their normal lives?

“Oh, I hadn’t actually thought that far ahead yet, me and Xavier only just marked each other tonight, we’re trying to take it as slow as possible.” She nodded her head and smiled at me.

“I know things have been rough and confusing but when the time comes I’m here to help you plan anything and everything.” I smiled at her, I felt like I had made a new friend finally. It was nice to have another girl around, Layla couldn’t visit me much because she was busy with school so it’s just been me, the guys, and Francis from time to time.

“Thank you I really do appreciate it.” We sat and talked a little more about life. Soon the other pack members started rolling in and Xavier motioned for me to join him at the head table. The omegas brought out the food and then sat down. Xavier stood up and tapped on his glass.

“Everyone please go ahead make your plates, we have a few important announcements to make once everyone is done eating.” A few announcements? I know he was announcing me as the new Luna but what else was there to talk about?

“What do you want to eat princess?” I honestly wasn’t that hungry but I knew I needed to eat.

“I just want a salad with some chicken on it please.” He nodded his head and walked over to the table of food. There was so much food there. It was a mixture of everything from steak to dessert, I think I even see some Chinese food displayed. I hadn’t ate much at the pack house but every time I did eat it was always delicious.

“Here you go sugar plum.” Xavier stood in front of me and sat my plate down.

“Thank you Alpha.” I curled my lips up in a smile. He stared at me his eyes going dark.

“Be careful princess, you don’t want to play with fire.” I only called him Alpha when I wanted something. He sat down next to me and I placed my hand on his thigh brushing my hand agains the bulge in his pants. He shifted in his seat and looked at me, giving me one of those “you’re in trouble when we get back to the room” looks. After about 30 minutes Xavier stood up again.

“Alright everyone, I would like to introduce you to someone.” The room fell silent. He grabbed my hand and I stood up next to him.

“This is Avery, she’s going to be the new Luna of our pack.” The room burst into sounds of clapping and cheering.

“Alright quiet down I still have one more announcement, since our issue here has been taken care of we will be moving back to the original pack grounds in Colorado where we will hold a proper Luna ceremony for Avery, we leave in one week.” One week? I wouldn’t be ready to leave in one week. I don’t know if I ever wanted to leave. Florida has always been my home, I didn’t want to say goodbye.

Everything was going according to plan. It was only a matter of time before I could make my move.

Perfect, this was going to be all too easy.

“Hi, sorry to bother you but I noticed you looking at me from across the room, do you want to go have some fun?” I petite blonde girl came walking up to me. She would do for now.

“Yes, I’ll show you to my room.” We walked out of the complex and to one of the nearby cottages. I opened the door and waved her inside.

“You will do what I want you to do, understand?” I grabbed her by the throat and looked deep into her eyes.

“Yes, anything to please you sir.” I made her get down on her knees so she was eye level with the bulge in my pants.

“Take it out.” She quickly undid my pants and I forced myself in her mouth. Listening to her gag as I forced her to take my full length was music to my ears, tears were streaming down her face.

“On the bed now.” She went over and laid down on the bed. Making this girl my s*x slave for the night was going to be so much fun. I heard the front door open and close as she left. I wish all girls were that easy. My little Luna had to make things difficult and I had to take her by force. Soon though she’d be begging for me and my mercy. I finished showering and turned out the lights and went to bed. I still had weeks to perfect my plan, they would never see me coming. Tonight I would rest.
