Chapter 19
Catalina had Ryan join her for breakfast on the patio. They indulged in homemade whole grain waffles with fresh cream and a medley of fruit, along with hash browns, almond milk smoothies, and orange juice. Catalina urged him to have seconds and thirds so he was full for his journey.
"Could you be happy here, Ryan?" she asked.
"I would be honored to be stationed here with you," he answered.
