Chapter 28 They drove to Nathaniel's rented mansion on Bayshore Drive without speaking, perhaps to shield their progressing intimacy from the ears and eyes of the bodyguards in the front and back of the van. The bodyguards also remained quiet. Ryan understood that they never spoke, unless Nathaniel addressed them. Nathaniel and Ryan were dropped off at a copper gate with a gorgeous patina decorating the entrance courtyard to the home.
