Chapter 8
Following Vicente Bastian's instructions, Maclean Vallance and Ryan Jayden immediately vacated the condominium complex. Driving west on Camelback Road, Ryan admired the aptly named Camelback Mountain out of the passenger seat car window while he talked directly to Vicente on Maclean's phone. Ryan relayed a moment-by-moment account of his actions on the condo balcony and his conclusive identification of Zachary Fellini.
"Anything else you can think of, Ryan?" Vicente asked.
"I told you everything," Ryan answered.
"Okay, hand Maclean's phone back to him."
Maclean confirmed to Vicente that Zachary had only observed Ryan. He also added that there was no sign of Zachary seeing them leave the condominium complex.
