Although confused, Aurora was thankful that Henry was not hurt. She was so terrified earlier. She even did a closer look on Henry’s palm and the rest of his arm that fell on the ground just to be sure that he was not hurt. Interestingly, he didn’t have any bruises. Aurora was a bit bothered but she found no reason to dwell with the issue.
Inside, Henry was certain that Aurora still had doubts about what she saw earlier. But she was not prying and stopped asking after confirming that he was indeed unhurt.
It was a close call. Things were just starting to develop between him and Aurora. He could not imagine how she would react if she had seen him with that piece of wood stabbing his hand through and through.
