Aurora wasn’t sure if she was hearing right. She just woke up and saw Henry’s face. Henry’s captivating face, his warm aura that she loved embracing every morning.
Did she just tell her that he loves her?
“What?” She momentarily asked. She might be hearing things.
Henry caressed her face. “I said I love you,” Henry repeated. He was not hoping to get a response from her right now, but he was happy to let it out of his chest. Finally, he was able to reveal his feelings to Aurora.
Aurora looked down, avoiding Henry’s eyes. She looked at his bare chest instead and the muscles that she enjoyed kissing every night. Was she supposed to say I love you back?
