Sebastian was not certain that Henry’s Aurora was indeed his bride-to-be. He needed more proof. There are a lot of reasons why Henry would hide the woman. She can be someone outside the royal family, or maybe it was a different woman from the one that he brought in the ball.
The King of the North Sea has more power and wealth than his family, or maybe even more than the riches of half of all the royal families combined. Sebastian can never accuse him of anything without proof.
He needs to go home right now and see the portrait of her bride-to-be. By now, the Seymours might have already sent the portrait to Wessex. He could finally put a face to the name.
But what if the Aurora that King Henry was with right now was indeed the Aurora that he was bound to be married to.
