Entry Three I came awake with a start as I heard the sound of footsteps resounding upon a tiled floor. Hurriedly and in a condition of complete dislocation, I scrambled to my feet, unaware of where I was but knowing I was in a cellar of some kind and that if the sun showing through a tiny aperture set high in a white plaster wall was any guide it must be morning. My bladder felt painful, so full was it, and I realised it was the need to defecate and not the approaching footfall that had fetched me awake. I looked about me urgently for some sign of toilet facilities but, other than my bed and a large wooden bucket to its side, the room was bare. And I was naked!
