I stood up and looked at Hugo with a smile. It is nice to know that he is right here, willing to listen to all of my rants and whereabouts, and this is the first time he had opened the topic of his parents. Naturally, he will play safe and won't mention something confidential but this time, he let himself be open towards me. I feel honored.
"Thank you," I said.
He placed a small smile on his face too and stood up.
"Tomorrow's our last day here, right?" he asked while the both of us is on our way back to the small house of Uncle Samson.
I still can't bring myself to call him 'Dad'."
