Chrysan's POV
A very very loud silence is enveloping us which is pretty unusual. Vane is the type who is always happy and our mood changer but right now, all I could sense is awkwardness. I always attempted to speak but I was always cut off by his deep sighs. I think he doesn't want to talk to me.
We are now getting closer and closer to the ice cream vendor and after this, I will not have any kind of chance to talk to him and I'll end up overthinking every night why was he so pissed. I'm not overreacting or what but Vane being pissed is one of the rarest things that I could have seen... and it also means that he is scary that's why I need to choose my words very carefully.
"Uhm, V-Vane?" I stammered, trying to get his attention but he didn't even look at me and just responded "Mmm?"
