Chapter-35

Golden sun rays penetrated through the iron bars of windows and woke him up. Alok slowly sprawled up and rubbed his eyes. His eyes still puffed and looked closely. It was a completely different place from yesterday. He buckled in hurry and went down. It was an abandoned but isolated mansion, an entire opposite setting from yesterday. He walked around in obscurity. His eyes suddenly caught them. His di is sitting in a chair, at a distance and that men in black standing and listening to them. By now,  he was sure his di is not ordinary. They saw and waved at him. He went near and joined the conference. She pointed him to sit which he followed. " Alok, within an hour, I will give you an answer." "Di.. Who are you??". Alok was focused on his question. A moment of silence followed and they all looked at her. "Me?? She pointed her fingers to herself and smiled at him; I am the princess of Hiranga and people call me Amanya." Alok rolled his eyes and stood in shock pushing his chair. He felt his throat dry up and was unable to talk but uttered in a low voice, "Serpent queen??" She looked at him in a satisfying smirk "Ah!! Even a small boy in Amai knows me, am I that famous" She looked around. They nodded their heads with a smile. "So they are.." "Cobras." She completed it now on a serious note. Alok was still in bafflement 'A ferocious tiger and a cute bunny.. the same person.. impossible' He whispered. Seeing his reaction she gestured at them and they went near to him. Deva started to have a chat with him and all others joined. She left the group and went back to the mansion. After a while Alok and others following him went to Amanya. He rushed and stood before her in a posture reminding himself not to hug her as she is the renowned commander. " Princess I found out, after the heavens took everything from me, they left you the best person in the world whom I could rely on." She stood seriously "call me di.." "di" She embraced him tightly and he felt his worries flying away. ' The god gave me the biggest treasure I could get in life. I will cherish it. From today I will be your shadow until death.' he pledged to himself raising his eyes to heaven. An unfamiliar man entered the scene. His eyebrows curled in anxiety. She turned and saw him walking towards her. He paused and unmasked. All the cobras respected him. He bowed in front of her " Captain of cobras in Amai, Naman bows in respect to the commander."
