THE MAN in suit said in a singsong voice while staring at the woman wearing eyeglasses. The woman has bruises all over her face, hands, and legs. While kneeling on the red carpet, facing the man sitting on the chair, her hands were tied.
"W-What did you do to them, Voldemir?" the woman asked. She gritted her teeth but worries tattooed in her voice.
Voldemir leaned his back. "Well, don't worry. I did not kill them right away. But..." he paused as he leaned towards the woman he called Nashira. "They soon will be."
"Damn you, evil!" Nashira relented. She repeatedly moved her hands, trying to break free, but she could not.
