We are having a memorial for Paige in the small chapel and I have been trying to comfort Paige’s father. I feel so sorry for him. She was all he had, and it had been a big thing for him to let her move to England.. he looks so lost and fragile.
Suddenly the door is flung open, and Will walks in, followed by Tim. We both look at them, and her father says. "So you did come, I was about to be very disappointed in you two".
"We did more than that. Tim goes to support Amelie.. and you, Marshall, you might want to sit down". Will say stopping just inside the door.
Tim comes over, squatting down next to me. He is unable to contain the most amazing smile. "Hi Baby, how are you feeling ? Sorry we are late”.
