Early that morning, I had made my way to Aiden’s company and when I reached his office, his assistant welcomed me.
"Mr. Knight is in a meeting, but I'll let him know you're here.” She said to me before leaving me alone in his luxury, spacious office.
A few moments later, Aiden joined me in his office where I was still seated and waiting, surprise written all over his face.
