Daphne’s POV
“W… what are you talking about?” The words caught in my throat. I couldn’t move my eyes from Bella’s face. She swiped a trembling hand across her cheeks, smearing her tears.
“Dad has another family, Daphne,” she repeated. My heart skipped. My breath hitched, and I felt the air leave my lungs.
“Ho.. how is this even possible?” I turned to my mother, searching for a flicker of a smile or a "gotcha." “Mom, what is Bella talking about?”
