The Bratva’s Prison Marco’s body was sore from all the rough beatings; it was the mental torture that got to him most of all. The cell, cold and damp, was a constant reminder of his predicament: two worlds colliding, with him stuck in between. Viktor’s men had momentarily ceased their physical torture but continued their psychological assault. Marco would remain alone in darkness for hours on end, his only companions his own thoughts.
