Cassian never actually broke the law, on the surface at least. He had simply invited the eight major shareholders of the Kane Corporation over to his manor. He didn't even need to utter a single threat, just had a dozen black-suited security operatives lined up behind him, shoulders squared and expressions like stone, and every last one of those high-and-mighty board members caved instantly, signing away their stakes without a word of protest. He hadn't raised a finger, nor had he uttered an explicit threat. He had simply invited business partners over for tea. No matter how the authorities scrutinized it, his hands remained spotless. The same logic applies here. If he decided to pay Tristan a private visit for a chat, he could do absolutely nothing and say nothing the entire time. M
