Brielle's POV I’d been binge-watching a show in the small hotel room I’d booked on the other side of town, desperate to get away from Jayce. I sat in front of the TV, wolfing down a bowl of popcorn I’d ordered earlier. My phone chimed with a notification, and I reached for it absently, expecting to see a message from Hannah. She’d rushed out of the restaurant during dinner because of an emergency. But it wasn’t her. It was a post from Luke, Jayce’s best friend. I’d already blocked his number.
