Brielle's POV With Jayce intercepting me at the door, I was already pissed. I didn’t want to stay here a second longer than necessary. If it weren’t for the family heirloom I’d left behind, I wouldn’t have honored their fake-ass invitation in the first place. Austin and Lilian were waiting in the living room. They straightened when I walked in, but neither said a word. “Excuse me,” I muttered, turning toward the hallway. I headed straight for my old room, the one I’d stayed in when I was younger.
