Naomi woke up to the smell of food causing her to roll over in bed. She used her hand to search the bed for Josiah but he was no longer there.
She opened her eyes and took a look around. The events of last night played on her mind.
She went to the bathroom and took a shower and did her usual routines hoping he would be done before he came back. She was happy to see that he was still not back when she finished.
She sat in her bed and turned the television on. Today was one of her lazy days. Her cycle was close and most days before the actual cycle she became gloomy.
"Good morning" Josiah walked through the door with a wood tray.
"Morning" Naomi said when he got down to her level and kissed her.
She looked at the food that he prepared and smiled happily.
