The sun finally rose, illuminating the horizon and the forest floor while we were peacefully riding the magnificent Corseans.
I was very satisfied with the fact we hadn't encountered any real threats. It would have been a sign of very bad luck having to fend for our lives in the first few hours of our journey. We still had a long way to go, but I was hopeful that we would be able to reach the Elven Domain at the proper planned time.
It was imperative for us to not get delayed for any reason.
The surrounding trees hadn't changed at all since the beginning of our journey so many hours earlier, or the scents carried in the air. Even the energy emanating from the living things around us was still the same.
