Liora  Everywhere burned. It was like liquid fire was coursing inside my veins, leaving a pathway of pure pain all the way until it reached my core. I barely registered when my knees hit the hard ground. My sole focus was the horrible feeling rushing throughout my entire body. I didn't need to think hard to know what was happening. By killing the vampire, the moronic half-witted Elder had just triggered a blood curse. And I was the one who was going to pay the price for it, since I was unfortunate enough to be touched by the bewitched blood. Just my luck.
