I had been attentively watching my mate for the past few days. With all that had happened, it became easier to read the signs and acknowledge how my feelings had changed. Liora had essentially forced these fluctuations upon me, and it didn’t take much to accede to them, causing me to see her in a new light. From what I observed in the others, I was sure they too were being affected by her. Their actions were slightly different, their behavior more subtle.
Given the amount of challenges we faced since the beginning of our journey, one would expect them to act even more hostile towards her, since she was the one who, in a deeper sense, brought all these things upon us.
