The thought that my pack would be protected by Elven magic was nerve-wracking. Yet, at the same time, I should not ignore the verity that there wasn't a better option.
Not because we couldn't think about something else in order to protect my people, but for the sole reason that Elven magic was powerful, and it damn worked. It is not for nothing that the Alfayian Forest is so well hidden that only Elves can find its location.
If they were using a similar type of protection ward to guard my territory, I could worry a little less because my people would be safe. Because even though I didn't want to admit it, Liora was right. I needed to stop bitching about not agreeing with this and not wanting to do it.
