It took a few seconds for my presence to be known. I felt the wave of anger hitting me, followed by the furious bellowing screech the daemon let out when he noticed what I was doing.
I am sure that, not in a million years, this thing would have expected something like this to happen, a sudden invasion from a ‘lowly earthly creature’ like me. This was, without doubt, a surprise for me as well. I just wanted him out of my mind and body and I was ready to bolt away from inside this foul place the moment my body was freed.
The feeling of wrongness stained every part of this place, whatever it was. I could not discern if I was inside his mind, his energy core or in the place of his creation. It didn’t really matter, because it would probably be all the same— a dark, calamitous place,
