"what brought me here"Luke smirked.
"I believe you know why I am here,why feigning ignorance?"
Beowulf scoffed"hmm,I don't know what you are talking about,what's the reason behind your stupid act of interrupting my peace"
"You are a coward to be an alpha,I have really heard a lot about you,am disappointed to see such a pup"Luke replied sizing him up.
Alpha Beowulf was provoked with what he said,one thing werewolves especially Alphas hated was someone looking down on them,they were creatures who had pride.
"Hey better watch your mouth,I have heard a lot about you and I also heard that you are trying to become the supreme alpha surrendering all the packs,you are really ambitious but I know you have heard about me too,you are a pup to me,I have lived in this Earth for so long,you are just a pup,I have fought in wars,I have experience,you are nothing compared to me,you are just a stupid hybrid,you aren't worthy to be an alpha of a pack let alone a supreme alpha, this is an abomination.
"Don't be silly,it's not about you living long or having experience,this is present and not past tense,do you say am just a hybrid,you really don't have any idea of what a hybrid can do.
"Just leave why it's still early or else you won't leave here alive if I change my mind,your presence alone here is an abomination,it irritates me,I wonder how you became an alpha,a hybrid,this is unheard of,are you sure that your father was mated to a vampiress or he was just lusting after the vampiress,To be honest , your mother was really beautiful,I have met her in person"Beowulf said to Luke who chuckled.
Luke was already boiling with anger,he clenched his fists,he hated it when someone talked about his family.he hated his childhood,as a child he witnessed his mother's infidelity and he understood he was unwanted by his father's pack because he was a hybrid although his father always told him that he would become an alpha.
At a little age,he trained to become strong so he would not be intimidated by anyone.he really worked hard for his position, he worked hard for everything he had now,he had to be merciless so that he can instill fear in people,he had to kill if it was necessary,he did many unspeakable things in life and he doesn't regret it a bit.
"You have no idea what I have done to become an alpha,you have no idea what I have done to be accepted into the pack,you really have no idea and doing more unspeakable things to become a supreme alpha is not an exception, some packs has pledged their loyalty and you and other strong headed alphas won't be a hindrance to my goals"
"And what makes you think am going to surrender my pack to a blood sucking demon like you,you must be out of your mind."
"Did I say you have an option,am here to conquer your pack,am not telling you to surrender because you are not going to stay alive to witness my success in becoming a supreme alpha,you have to die no matter what".
"Are you threatening me"Beowulf asked.
"I am a man of my words,I don't threaten,I execute,you lost your chance of being alive when I sent you a message telling you to pledge your loyalty to me but you ignored me,you made me come here,am not leaving without taking your life."
Alpha Beowulf's aides tried to react when Luke mentioned about taking their Alpha's life but Beowulf stopped them.
"I don't want innocent people to get hurt in this,there is a reason for me being an alpha and that's to protect my pack."he said to Luke who nodded approvingly.
"Nice speech though,so?"
Alpha Beowulf came up to him and looked into his eyes."I Alpha Beowulf the Alpha of moon stone pack challenge you to a duel,let the winner's wishes prevail."
Every where was filled with murmurs,Alpha Beowulf's Luna began to panick."you don't have to do this"she mind linked Beowulf."it's okay dear, don't you have faith in your husband"he replied."please be safe"she told him"ok dear"he replied and blocked his mind from any mind link.
Everybody was now waiting for Luke's reply.he was calm.
"Sure"he announced loudly."let the duel begin"
