The Daydark This was a very early story of mine, but it remained unpublished until the fall of 2002, when it appeared in Gateway S-F Magazine, which focused on Christian science fiction. I grew up in the church of Christ, attending services three times a week. My father was a preacher, teacher, deacon, and eventually elder in the church. I graduated from both a Christian high school and a Christian university.
