Lost in Translation
Those familiar with my novels may recognize this title. Published in 1994 in the first issue of the late, lamented science-fiction magazine TransVersion, this story became the basis for my novel of the same name, which, as I recounted earlier, was first published by Five Star in library-bound hardcover and then picked up by DAW Books in paperback, launching my career as a DAW author.
