Chapter 2-Running Away

Waking up the next morning, I was so sore. I got up from my bed and started doing my daily hygiene as the events from last night played through my mind over and over again, and that's when I knew that I had to get out of here by tonight. It was currently 6pm and Lucus had just left the pack's territory for a meeting with one of our neighboring packs, and I took that as a chance to go pack most of my things and a few snacks for my journey and my purple safe that my mother and father gave to me for my 10th birthday. Before I left, I took a walk through my childhood home to remember all the good memories I had from my younger childhood before my mom and dad passed away.

'We have to go now, Angel, before Lucus comes back' Lily, my wolf, said to me.

-5 months later-

It's been 5 months since I ran away from my old pack. I moved to a small town in Iowa and changed my appearance, but I still live in fear that Lucus might find me. I work at this little diner called "Ollie's" throughout the week and I'm off on weekends. Kendra, a new friend I've met, invited me out to this party this weekend and I'm going. It is now the weekend so I start getting ready taking out this red mid length strapless dress with a matching pair of red heels. I do a dewy soft glam makeup look and curl my hair to complete the look.

-30 mins later-

Kendra has pulled up and i get inside of her black bmw and we're now on our way to the party...we arrive to the party and there are people everywhere. Some kids are smoking, some are drinking, some kissing and etc...as we get closer to the enterance i smell this wonderful smell of pinewood and rain. "mate mate mate" is all i hear lily say and then i am met with the most beautiful deep green eyes ive ever seen.
