Chapter 4: Nursery reveal and Graduation!

Rayleigh's POVmy mom is seeing the nursery for the first time since its been put together so we are showing it to her after my high school graduation.i got up and showered after that i put on a maternity black dress that had flowers all over it and some black strappy sandles and then i put on my light natural make up and some perfume next i curled my hair and put it in a half ponytail then put my cap and gown on i walked out to the living room and seen my brother mom and jorden all smiling at me excited for today more then i was "why arent you more excited sis?" Sam asked"because i know after today my best friend is going off to collage and im going off to become a mother of twins" i sighed and jorden hugged me "im sorry Hun maybe you can take online collage courses after the twins are a year old?" jorden said as a question "that doesn't sound like such a bad idea that could work id be able to do my work from home and take care of the twins" i smiled kissing his cheek "and i'm taking a year off collage as well because i want to be here for them so im going to get a job and then proceed to take online courses when you start" Jorden smiled "wait what you're not coming back in the fall?!" Sam asked wide eyed"no bro i was serious when i told you that i want to be here for my kids my party days are over its time for me to grow up and start acting like a dad cause im going to be one in less then 5 months" Jorden replied"what about football?" Sam asked"i'll play for fun but professionally just isnt realistic right now maybe somewhere in the future i'll get a career doing something related to football maybe be a coach or something but my focus is Ray, Remington and Oliver" Jorden smiled kissing my cheek then my stomach twice "yea the twins are due in the fall literally around the time school will be starting back up" i smiled "okay i guess thats fine" Sam sighed over dramatically and then laughed "okay we gotta go before im late for my own graduation guys come on lets go" i chuckled and we left once we got to the graduation i found Layla and we took a few photos before chatting while we waited for them to tell us it was time to line up and go out once they told us everyone stopped talking and we all started going by pairs of twos and sat in rows waiting for the speakers to finishonce the speakers finished our row was up first so we stood and walked in a line to the podium and they read off my name"Rayleigh Marie Bancroft" Principal Ashe spoke and i heard people cheering for me as i walked and heard them call Layla's name"Layla Adriana Barnett" Principal Ashe spoke and her family cheered i got my diploma and shook each persons hand as they continued calling names and soon enough everyone had their diplomas and we were moving our tassels from the left to the right and throwing our hats in the air cheering for our graduating class after graduation we all went back out to find our families and take photos of our own with our friends and family and favorite teachers "oh my god Ray i can't believe we made it!" Layla said hugging me"i know!" i smiled hugging back "Congratulations Rayleigh" Jordens older brother Connor said hugging me"yea congrats ray" Hannah Jordens younger sister spoke and hugged me as well "thank's you guys" i smiled and hugged them back "im so proud of you babe" Jorden spoke hugging me from behind and giving me a quick kiss"thank you baby" i smiled leaning into him a bit "no problem love" Jorden smiled backafter we left graduation we went to out for dinner we decided on Panda Express as it sounded so good once we got there i ordered "i'll have your bigger plate combo with fried rice, orange chicken and sweet fried chicken with a large iced tea please" i spoke to the cashier and she smiled nodding after everyone ordered we all sat down and started eating and having small conversations about how i was through high school and how Sam and Jorden and Layla were as well once we all finished eating we headed home and decided it was finally time for our moms to see the completed nursery for the twins that we put together last week so once we got home and we took our shoes and coats off as we led our moms to the nursery and made they close their eyes "okay are you guys ready?" i asked"yes we are" my mom and jordens mom spoke excited "okay open your eyes" Jorden spoke and opened the door as they opened their eyes"oh my god its adorable you guys" Jordens mom Lisa smiled "it is just amazing" my mom smiled agreeing"thank you" Jorden and i smiled back and hugged them after they seen the nursery we all sat in the living room playing card games and board games for a while before we all decided it was late and so we all headed off to bed.
