Chapter 5: Maternity Photos

Rayleigh's POVi woke up and showered then got dressed in a nice outfit as today i'm not only 37 weeks pregnant but i'm also doing my maternity photos today with Jorden once i got dressed i went downstairs to the kitchen and seen Jorden all dressed and ready to go for the photos we both ate some breakfast and headed out to the spot we would be doing our photos which is a nice woodsy area and the snow makes it even more beautiful even though its only the beginning of October we have already started getting snow because Colorado for some reason wanted snow.we got to the place and got out meeting the photographer and walked to the first location for the pictures and posed the way she told us to "Alright now for this one Jorden hold her hands and look into her eyes lovingly you too Rayleigh" Sandy the photographer told uswe followed her instructions and did as told for each pose. after about 2 or so hours we finally finished up the photos and thanked Sandy before she headed out and we left shortly after her "wanna go get some lunch cutie?" jorden asked "sure love i could go for some food" i smiled holding his right hand as he drove"wanna go to steak and shake?" he asked and it sounded so good "yes please that sounds amazing" i giggled as i thought of what i wanted to eat we arrived at stake and shake and went inside being seated in a booth and ordered i got the Cajun double stakeburger with extra fries and ranch with a water and the chocolate covered strawberry shake Jorden got the turkey club sandwich with fries and a coke with the black raspberry shake as we ate and talked about the babies and what we thought they would look like and who they would be when they get older "i hope Remington gets her looks from you" Jorden said with a smile"i hope Oliver gets his looks from you" i replied smiling as well "you are going to be the best mom ever" Jorden smiled holding my hand"thank you i hope so and you're going to be the best dad ever" i smiled lacing our fingers together"im sure going to try to be one" he smiled back kissing my hand "they're kicking" i said moving his hand to my stomach "i love this feeling" he smiled just feeling them kick "me too" i smiled back once we finished eating we were getting up to leave when the former cheer-captain Karen spotted Jorden "oh my god Jorden i haven't seen you in so long like eight and a half months" Karen said in her annoying voice"oh Karen hi?" Jorden said as a question i could tell he wanted to leave"Hey how are you boo" Karen said as she tried to give him a kiss on the cheek but he backed away"Karen this is my Girlfriend Rayleigh Bancroft i'm sure you know her" Jorden spoke happily and held my hand kissing my cheek"you're kidding right? i mean look at her she's knocked up with someones kid why would you want that?" Karen said in disgust "I'm not kidding shes been my girlfriend for 6 and a half months now and that someone who got her pregnant was me those are my babies" Jorden said proudly"oh ew.. well text me then maybe" Karen said "i wont be texting you i deleted your number and im going to take my lovely girl home and make sure shes settled for the night so goodbye" Jorden spoke and we left stake and shake after leaving stake and shake we headed to the photography place to pick up our photos from the maternity shoot once we got them we headed home to show them to everyone once we got home i walked in and seen mom cooking dinner and i smiled then i seen a random guy beside her that wasnt Sam "hey mom" i said as Jorden came inside "Hey sweetie how are the photos are the nice?" Mom asked turning around and walking towards me"yes wanna see?" i asked "of course honey" mom said and looked at them as the random guy stood beside her"do you like them" i asked "sweetie they're perfect i love them, oh this is Dustin my boyfriend Dustin this is Rayleigh and Jorden" mom said introducing us all to each other "nice to meet you Dustin" i said and shook his hand "nice to meet you" Jorden said and hesitantly shook his hand "its an honor to finally meet you" Dustin said and smiled big at me and shook my hand a little to long which creeped me out"mom me and Jorden are going to watch a movie will you let us know when dinner is ready?" i asked "sure will honey" mom smiled and went back to cooking Jorden and i decided to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas in the living room and ate some popcorn as we waited for dinner about halfway through the movie Layla walked into the living room with sam following her"Babe wait up whats the hurry Ray wont be back for a little while" Sam said following Layla"did you call her Babe?" i questioned his name for her"Oh Ray hi i was umm i was just leaving" Layla said sounding rushedat this point Jorden chuckled a little and i was so lost "Hun they just had s*x" Jorden chuckled "oooh are you guys together?" i asked giggling a bit"yea" Sam said making Layla blush then she looked upset "whats wrong Lay?" i asked her"nothing.." Layla lied"what is it" Sam asked"i told you i didn't want her to know because i wasn't sure if this would work i leave to go back to Florida for collage in two days i told you i didn't know what this was" Layla snapped at Sam"hey calm down don't snap at my brother" i said calmly"stay out of this not everything's about you Rayleigh, well are you going to say something?" Layla spoke as she looked back to Sam"i thought i don't know i guess i just thought that things were going so good that you'd consider trying the long distance thing" Sam said looking down"look i like you and things are going great and well i guess i'm willing to try long distance" Layla sighed and hugged Sam "awes" Jorden and i said in unisonthey rolled their eyes at us and sat on the other end of the couch i moved to where my back rested against the armrest and Jorden pulled my legs across his lap and i smiled when he started to rub my calf's after the move we ate dinner and put another movie in got more popcorn and i ended up falling asleep shortly after the movie started.
