Chapter 6: Welcome Remington and Oliver!

Rayleigh's POVi woke up to a weird pain in my lower back so i sat up and got out of bed going to take a hot bath hoping it would ease the pain as its only three in the morning so i wanted to be able to fall back asleepafter i got out of the bath the pain had subsided so i decided to get dressed so i put on a maternity dress and went downstairs to the living room and sat on the couch leaning my back against the armrest and putting my feet up watching season 7 of Friends i got to the episode of Friends where Rachel has her baby and by now it was eight-thirty in the morning and the pain had come back every few hours and they seemed to get worse each time the pain hit "ow ooh ow" i groaned to myself as i took deep breaths to ease the pain"Ray? are you alright?" i heard Sam ask as he came into the living room "no i've been having pains worse and worse every so often since three this morning" i groaned as the pain subsided "Ray i think you might be in labor let me get mom you text Jorden" sam said calmly and went to get momonce mom got into the living room she knew right away what was wrong and she spoke"hey baby is everything okay" jorden asked as he came inside worry on his face as he rushed to my side"she'll be fine she just might be in labor" mom said "shouldn't we go to the hospital then?" Sam asked "yes lets go" mom said and Jorden helped me up and put my shoes on mewe all made our way out to the car and headed to the hospital once we arrived i got out and sat in a wheelchair as jorden pushed me to the counter and checked me in "alright miss Bancroft right this way" a nurse smiled and she led us to a delivery room once i got into my room the hooked me up to a bunch of things including heart monitors for the babies and myself some I.Vs and a few other things and then left the room leaving me my mom brother and Jorden alone "i'm going to call Dustin sweetie just so he doesn't get worried" mom said and left "i can't believe this is it love" Jorden said kissing my hand "me either we're going to be parents we finally get to meet our babies" i smiled laying my head back -time skip 5 hours later-i've been in labor for a while now and i'm only seven centimeters dilated and the pain is agonizing so i hit the nurse button "how can i help you?" the nurse asked kindly "when can i get the epidural?" i asked as a contraction hit and i squeezed Jordens hand "let me go check with your doctor i'll be right back" the nurse said and she left "how are you holding up sis" Sam asked walking into my room "this pain sucks" i groaned "im sorry anything i can do to help?" sam asked as my doctor cam back in "alright Miss Bancroft lets get you this epidural" my doctor spoke and jorden helped me sit up "thank god" i groaned as they prepped my back for the needle "alright now you're going to want to grip onto something as this will hurt a little bit" my doctor spoke and i nodded "alright cutie you can hold me" jorden said and stood up letting me grip his hands my doctor started to put the needle in and i started to squeeze jordens hands tightly and took a sharp breath in as my doctor finished putting the epidural in then helped me carefully lay back down laying on my side a bit "that should numb you from the waist down until after you deliver" my doctor spoke and left the room"that doing any good" sam asked "yea a bit actually" i smiled and relaxed "good im glad" sam smiled as jorden nodded agreeing"these babies need to get a move on it" i smiled and laughed a little "yea they do i want to finally meet them" Jorden smiled as did sam a few more hours passed and my doctor came back in to check how far i was and i was finally at a ten which mean i'd be delivering in a few minuets and started to push when contractions hit continuing to do so until the room filled with two little babies crying and i laid my head back sighing "congratulations Mr. Anderson and Miss. Bancroft" my doctor said as she cleaned up a bit and finished up a few other things after the doctors and nurses left Jorden came over and smiled kissing me softly as he held Oliver and i held Remington just smiling at each of them as we just sat in silence taking everything in."they're perfect baby" jorden smiled "yes they are" i smiled back "knock knock" Sam said from the door and i smiled waving everyone in "Can i hold Remington?" Layla asked and i nodded handing her to layla "oh my god she looks just like you Ray" layla smiled big "Ollie looks just like Jorden" Sam chuckled "oh boy Remi you're going to need to keep Ollie from being a heart-breaker" Layla cooed to the baby "hey i think i've done pretty good going on almost 8 months with one of the prettiest girls in the world Rem being the other pretties girl" Jorden smiled kissing me then Remington's head.
