NILE wanted to help his brother but he knew that using his powers to influence Francine's decision was wrong.
"I can't do that. This is her future. She should decide for herself whether she wants to do this or not. You know she could hate you, hate all of us once she realized that we are trying to fool her." Nile explained. Aldus closed his eyes and massaged his temples. He wanted to scream in frustration.
"Aldus, your wife is the most intuitive person I know. I'm not sure why she hadn't figured out what we truly are up to now, but for other things, she had always been attentive and keen to details. She's not easy to fool," Nile continued. Aldus knew he was right but he couldn't accept that.
