SIMON thought that it would be their first official meeting but someone knocked at the door when she saw him. When Sophia turned towards the source of the sound, she dropped the book she was holding. Instead of falling to the ground, the book stopped in mid-air as soon as the door opened.
"We told you to wait," Devon said as he entered the room. Simon was about to protest when he continued, "we'll be organizing a dinner sooner than the masquerade gala so you can be introduced to her properly. Just be patient, Simon."
