My squinting eyes against the morning light open to an empty bed.
“Baby?” I call out but I can’t hear her anywhere.
I rub my eyes and stretch, then I get up. I decide to go and check in her room. When I get there, I knock but she doesn’t answer so I open the door. I look around but the room is empty though I can hear the shower running in her bathroom.
I knock on the door. “Hey, baby?”
No answer.
I open the unlocked door but I step back when I see blood on the floor. Smudges and footprints of blood. I rush to the shower and open it to find Tinsley sitting with her knees tucked into her chest, covered in blood that is washing away with the water.
“Baby what happened!?”
