Mr. Imari stared at me nonchalantly, I was astonished to see liquid in his eyes. But... why?
"Mr. Fuentes," he stepped closer to me and swiftly gave me a huge hug, "Thank you for saving Erika!" He praised in a trembling voice as if he was already in tears.
"A-Are you okay?" I stammered a question. I responded to his hug and shortly released it. Why does Mr. Imari seem to be concerned by what happened to Erika?
"If something dreadful happened to her," he swung his gaze to Erika, "I might not be okay for the rest of my life," he responded.
I observed the way he stared at Erika. His eyes were watery, his lips were quivering. What does his stare at my secretary mean?
"Don't worry, she's safe." I spoke then sat in the chair near the room's table. I chose to calm down and observe Mr. Imari'
