Two days later, Dad had finally returned home. I was afraid to tell them about Miguel’s situation. I was afraid that Dad's illness might get worse, he had just been released from the hospital, I didn't want to give him a headache.
But Miguel's parents, they wanted me to stand as the father of Miguel's future child without denying it to thw public. And they also wanted me to let my parents know about it as soon as possible. I didn’t know what was running through Miguel’s parents’ minds, why they became demanding all of a sudden, or what they wanted to happen, but I was pretty sure they would use Miguel’s pregnancy to redeem their ancestor’s debt.
