A Father's Emotions

She smiles as she watches Oriana wander towards her bathroom. The bedsheet slips down her bare figure as she sits up. 'What are you doing?' Hope mumbles.

Oriana stops in the doorway, supporting herself by stretching her arms upwards as she grips the wood. She looks over her shoulder, drinking in Hope's sprawled figure as Hope drinks in hers. 'Can a girl not have a shower without it being suspicious?' Oriana teases.

'You have an unhealthy obsession with my shower.' Hope slides off her bed and wraps her arms around Oriana's bare figure.

'You have a great shower.'

Whatever you say.' Hope presses kisses along Oriana's shoulder, biting the skin gently when Oriana presses back into her. She slowly lets go and slaps Oriana's ass. 'I thought you said you were having a shower?'

'Tease.' Oriana grabs Hope's hand. 'Come on.'

'What do I get out of this?'

'Wet.' Oriana winks at Hope, pulling her under the shower. 'We'll be saving water by showering together.'

'Sure.'

Oriana shrugs and turns on the shower. 'You still in denial that you wanted me with you in the shower when I called you?'

Hope grins and moves her hands to splash Oriana's face with the water. 'Just shut up and kiss me.' she takes hold of Oriana's face in her hands gently and kisses her as Oriana winds a hand into Hope's blue hair.

She sits in the corner of the sofa, the large screen lighting her features as she watches the movie.

Karma leans on the doorframe. 'You okay?' Karma asks.

Hope shrugs. 'Couldn't sleep,' Hope replies quietly.

'Because dad isn't here or earlier?'

'Earlier.'

Karma joins Hope, pulling his legs to his chest. 'She missed you. Talked about you all the time. I think we may have caught glimpses of you at secondary because you were two years above. I thought he was your brother or something.'

'A lot of people think that. Oriana didn't believe that we weren't sleeping with each other.'

'Is that what she accused you of when he appeared without any clothes.'

'Of course.'

Karma laughs making Hope smile. 'At least you have her.'

'Yeah.'

Karma rests his head on Hope's shoulder as they watch the movie. 'How did you two meet?'

Hope laughs at the memory. 'First year of secondary where we were the nerds competing to be the top of the class, she annoyed the s**t out of me. But no one else would talk to me apart from her. She was the second person I came out to towards the end of year ten and then she kissed me. We got stuck in a cycle after that because her family were absolute shits. She got fed up with not being true to herself and came out to her family. She threw it all away for me.'
