My feet ached as I followed the light deeper into the African plains, the moon still high in the sky above me. I paused for breaks every once in a while but the Seraph seemed insistent on leading me to whatever they wanted to show me. I placed my hand on my chest as I fought to catch my breath, forcing myself to keep walking.
