Dawson's Point Of View The moment I shut the door behind me, a sharp grunt escaped my throat. I immediately reached for my chest. "Damn it." Pain radiated through my ribs. I staggered forward. My hand instinctively landed on the edge of my desk. For a brief second, my vision blurred as I clenched my teeth. Then another violent wave hit. My breathing faltered.
