Gwen's Point Of View The first thing I noticed was the familiar hospital smell. The second thing I noticed was the white ceiling above me. I simply stared at it for several seconds trying to remember what happened and in a flash, I did. A shaky breath escaped me as I immediately tried to sit up. The movement pulled painfully at my arm. A metallic clink echoed beside me and my heart dropped when I turned my head and froze at the sight of a handcuff wrapped securely around my wrist and attached to the railing of the hospital bed like a real criminal.
