Chapter 26 "We'll have to make a diversion," Jabari said, "to get that guard away from the door." They were clustered together in the shadow of a tall building, staring at the jeweled palace that seemed to be the rooms of the high priest. Brigid stood next to him, her eyes moving from the tall walls of the compound to the shadows at the foot of the massive, unfriendly building. "What about that door?" she asked. "Could we make it in through there?" Jabari looked where Brigid was pointing. At the base of the palace was a short, wood door, likely leading to the kitchen cellars. He rubbed one cheek, thinking.
