Magnus paused, his eyes flicking up to meet hers, a wicked grin tugging at the corner of his lips.
“Say it again, Little Wolf,” he murmured as his hands slid further down, making her squirm.
Meredith's chest tightened as her body ached for more. “I'm begging you, Magnus…”
Magnus gently lowered Meredith onto the bed, their bodies sinking into the soft sheets. The heat between them scorched as he hovered over her. His rough edges seemed to melt away as he gently brushed a strand of hair from her face, his fingers lingering against her cheek.
“You're so beautiful, Little Wolf…” His voice was filled with awe, as if he were seeing her for the very first time. “And I'm going to spend my whole life thanking the Moon Goddess for bringing you into my world.”
