Meredith stirred awake to the sound of hushed voices as sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains. She blinked, her muscles aching from the night before.
A soft voice echoed from somewhere. "Careful, you'll wake her."
"She's already stirring, Damien," Xavier replied teasingly. "It seems our little goddess here can't resist us for long."
"Or... she's pretending to be asleep so she doesn't have to hear you talk, Beta Xavier," Magnus added.
After a moment, Meredith let out a soft groan and finally turned her head to look at them. Her wild, three fiercely protective, and maddeningly attractive mates were seated around her on the bed.
Damien's piercing eyes softened when they met hers. He brushed a strand of hair away from her face, which instantly made her heart flutter.
