Before her morning training session, Meredith decided to check in on Magnus. She wanted to see how he was recovering after everything, especially since Doctor Alexander had warned that his healing was slow.   When she entered his room, though, she was surprised to find the bed empty and neatly made. A pang of worry tightened in her chest.   “Where the hell could he be?” she muttered to herself.   Her eyes darted around the room, but there was no sign of him.
